# Binance Sub-accounts & API Connection

Creating your own APIs will help users easily connect their Binance Exchange Wallet to our website - Investy.ai. Your information and data will be pulled directly from Binance and available in Investy.ai by using the created API. Then, you can choose Portfolios in the Auto Invest tab. Sit back, free-hands and let Investy.ai invest for you. 

### **HOW TO CREATE SUB ACCOUNTS** 

Step 1: Login to your Binance account, and click **\[Profile] - \[Sub Accounts]**.

Step 2: Then, go to **\[Account Management]** → select **\[Create Sub Account]**

Step 3: You will have various options to create your sub accounts such as creating with email, virtual email, …

* Choose **\[Create with virtual email**], please note that the sub-account can only be operated by the master account through API. The virtual email can’t be used to login into a sub-account, otherwise select the other option

Step 4: Complete creating the sub accounts, you can manage your sub accounts under account management

### **HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR ASSETS BETWEEN MASTER AND SUB ACCOUNTS**

After created a sub-account, now you have your sub-account ready to be used&#x20;

Step 1: Go to **\[Asset Management]** under Sub Accounts&#x20;

Step 2: Click **\[Transfer]** to transfer assets between the accounts instantly without charges <br>

Step 3: Then, Select the account you want to transfer from which account **\[Transfer From] \[Transfer To]**. And **\[Enter]** the sufficient amount.<br>

Step 4: Then, confirm the transfer. You will be able to have your assets transferred to the sub-accounts and ready to be used

**HOW TO CREATE AND CONNECT APIs TO INVESTY.AI**

*Follow these steps to get your own API:*

<mark style="color:blue;">\*\*\*Note: Before creating the API, for your security make sure that you have already turned on the 2FA (Two-factor authentication)</mark>&#x20;

There are various methods to set up two factor authentication in Binance such as SMS Authentication, Google Authentication, Email, Passkeys, …&#x20;

Step 1: Login into Binance account

Step 2: After logging in, click **\[API Management]** under Sub Accounts, and choose **\[Create API]**

Step 3: After choosing **\[Create API],** then select the sub-account you wish to use, and **\[Enter/ label your unique API Name]**&#x20;

Step 4:&#x20;

Add your IP as a Whitelist IP at the Binance API Account as follows:

* Get your IP here at the last step of setting up exchange in Investy.ai website (showed below)

* Add that IP into Whitelist at the Binance API Account page (where you've just created your API keys)
  * Navigation: **\[Edit Restrictions]** → Select **\[Restrict access to trusted IPs only]** → Add your IP and tick on **\[Enable Spot and Margin Trading]**

Then, **\[Save]** your actions

Step 5: Find your API keys after created (2FA must be verified before this step)

Step 6: **\[Copy and paste]** your API keys to Investy.ai Exchange Setup&#x20;

Step 7: Fill out all the required fields in Investy.ai.&#x20;

Step 8: Press **\[Save] & \[Connect Exchange]** - your connected exchange will be available in Investy.ai within a minute

### **(OPTIONAL) CREATE API THROUGH MASTER ACCOUNT**

Step 1: After logging in, click **\[Account]** under User Information
